Head Data Privacy & AI Compliance - Switzerland & Germany(m/w/x)
Leading data privacy and AI compliance for Novartis in Switzerland and Germany. Deep knowledge of global data privacy and AI regulatory regimes required. Managing the German DPDAI team, setting priorities, and serving as Data Privacy Officer for Swiss entities.
Anforderungen
- Law or business degree with executive education in data privacy (Swiss/German context)
- Proven people leadership experience
- Deep knowledge of global data privacy and AI regulatory regimes
- Hands-on experience designing/running privacy/AI compliance programs, controls, governance
- Ability to operate effectively in complex, multi-country regulatory environments
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Fluent in German and English
- Experience in international law firm or data privacy/AI compliance function
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM, AIGP, AI ethics/compliance)
- Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or healthcare sector
Aufgaben
- Lead DPDAI for Switzerland and Germany
- Ensure strong local implementation of global Data Privacy & AI program
- Manage and develop the German DPDAI team
- Set clear priorities and delivery standards
- Serve as Data Privacy Officer for Swiss Novartis entities
- Partner with business leaders to enable responsible data and AI use
- Provide clear, pragmatic regulatory advice
- Translate global policies into practical country guidance
- Act as first point of contact for DPDAI policies and procedures
- Horizon-scan for emerging privacy and AI legislation
- Assess impact of new legislation and drive timely adoption
- Own country DPDAI risk strategy
- Identify, assess, and escalate key risks
- Report to senior leadership on key risks
- Oversee privacy notices and procedures
- Conduct training and manage response processes
- Maintain evidence and risk/control documentation
- Enable timely remediation by the business
- Represent Novartis in industry groups on privacy and AI
