- Completed vocational training with extensive subject-specific qualification

- Working experience as Ground Segment Engineer or similar role
- Advanced knowledge of payload systems, including design, integration, and testing
- Experience with engineering analysis tools (Matlab, etc.)
- Profound knowledge of Ground Segment Requirements & Architecture
- Knowledge of Ground Safety & Mission Assurance needs (incl. SW QA aspects)
- Familiarity with Doors, Jira, Python, C++, Agile methodology
- Excellent engineering approach to payload design, integration, and validation
- Test planning, V&V / Ground AIT documentation, coordination, and data analysis
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and suppliers
- Very good written and spoken English & German
- Willingness to travel domestically and abroad
Aufgaben
- Design and develop ground infrastructure for aircraft communication
- Maintain ground stations and control centers
- Decompose Ground Segment requirements into elements and sub-systems
- Track and resolve gaps in requirements
- Quantify operational and technical performances
- Perform and document system analyses and design activities
- Contribute to Ground Segment Interface definition for Payload aspects
- Engage with external Payload ground elements and Control Element subsystems
- Participate in Ground Segment Validation & Verification (V&V) processes
- Involve in Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) concepts for Payload aspects
- Align with Mission Execution and Sub-Systems for operational needs
- Prepare documentation and present work results
