GPS Associate Wealth Planning Business Risk Manager(m/w/x)
Designing and evaluating the GPS control framework for a private bank. 5+ years private banking risk/compliance experience preferred. Rotations across business risk teams.
Anforderungen
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent higher education (preferably Banking & Finance, Law, Accounting, or Tax)
- 2-3 years professional experience (including internships)
- Further education in financial markets, financial planning, or risk (e.g., CFA, CFP, FRM) (strong plus)
- More than 5 years relevant working experience (preferably private banking, focus on risk, legal, compliance, or Wealth Planning/Trust Fiduciary Services)
- Strong knowledge of risk management and audit principles
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Familiarity with investment products, services, and associated risks
- Good understanding of banking business, financial products, and Wealth Planning/Trust/Fiduciary Services processes
- Expertise in (in-depth) data analysis, gap assessments, and solution development
- Ability to work independently in global team setup
- Ownership of initiatives
- Precise, structured way of working

- Fluency in English (German strong advantage)
- Eligibility to work in country of application for program duration
Aufgaben
- Provide expert risk advisory to stakeholders.
- Ensure key risks are addressed and mitigated.
- Design and implement the GPS control framework.
- Evaluate and maintain the GPS control framework.
- Ensure framework aligns with bank internal control standards.
- Manage control effectiveness in Wealth Planning.
- Identify areas for control improvement.
- Mitigate potential risks.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Assess impact of bank-wide policy changes.
- Ensure internal controls reflect policy changes.
- Administer the GPS internal control tool.
- Create new controls in the tool.
- Edit existing controls in the tool.
- Assign roles in the control tool.
- Deliver targeted training on risk awareness and management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Identify and propose efficiency improvements.
- Implement effective controls to mitigate risks.
- Represent GPS in bank-wide committees and projects.
- Participate in working groups on WP risks.
