In this role, you will be integral to the financial reporting process, preparing statements and ensuring accurate documentation of accounts. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve reconciling accounts, analyzing financial data, and collaborating on optimization projects.

Anforderungen

• •Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting, ideally complemented by CPA certification or equivalent accounting training
• •Several years of professional accounting experience with an international scope
• •Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, and tax law in line with HGB and US GAAP
• •Hands-on experience with ERP and reporting systems
• •Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
• •Structured, detail-oriented, and independent approach to work
• •Proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment

Aufgaben

• •Support in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• •Determine and document provisions and accruals
• •Determine and document inventory accounts, receivables, and liabilities
• •Post and maintain loans and lease agreements
• •Act as a contact person for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and asset accounting
• •Post and reconcile wage and salary accounts
• •Reconcile, analyze, and evaluate balance sheet accounts
• •Conduct intercompany reconciliation
• •Prepare and report period results to the parent company
• •Analyze and document closing entries per internal control guidelines
• •Integrate new companies into existing closing processes
• •Participate in cross-functional optimization projects
• •Prepare sales tax returns and summary reports
