Building firmware and FPGA logic blocks for quantum computers, reducing error rates and latency. FPGA softcore microprocessor programming in C and assembly required. Hybrid setup, flexible hours.

Anforderungen

  • MSc in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • At least 2 years professional engineering experience
  • Programming FPGA softcore microprocessor in C and assembly
  • Designing FPGA IP blocks in HDL and validating designs
  • Understanding of concurrency concepts, including multithreading
  • Motivation and ability to learn quantum information, QEC, and decoding data processing
  • Comfortable working across disciplines and in low hierarchy setup
  • VHDL skills and experience with Altera FPGA toolchains
  • Knowledge of communication protocols and hardware to software interfaces
  • Digital logic fundamentals, including clock domain concepts and safe transfers
  • Verification mindset and practices where correctness matters early
  • Profiling, benchmarking, and optimizing real time systems
  • Scripting skills for improving tool flows and developer experience
