In this role, you will collaborate with the R&D team on various engineering projects, ranging from mechanical design to simulations. Your daily responsibilities will include managing design tools, developing prototyping capabilities, and ensuring resources are effectively allocated to meet project demands.

Anforderungen

• •Strong background in explosion protection design and simulation for PV inverter or BESS
• •Good experience in 2D, 3D mechanical design and design tool management
• •Sound knowledge in multi-physics, thermal, CFD, magnetic simulation, EMC, and PCB layout design
• •Mechanical engineering experience in structure, thermal, manufacturing, material, mechanics, product design, and electrical knowledge of EMC and PCB layout
• •Sound experience in project management and team-building
• •Experience in building prototypes and manufacturing mechanical parts and PCBs

Aufgaben

• •Support the R&D team with engineering resources
• •Conduct 2D and 3D mechanical design
• •Perform multi-physics and CFD simulations
• •Design PCBs and integrate EMC
• •Manage simulation and design tools for all teams
• •Plan and support the IT hardware environment for simulations
• •Collaborate with NRC leadership and lab directors
• •Develop prototyping capabilities for mechanical parts and PCBs
• •Build converter prototypes using local resources
• •Coordinate with local suppliers to enhance support network
• •Manage personnel resources and assign project capacities
• •Develop technical platform capabilities for future needs
