Aufgaben
- Act as an internal key expert within indication areas
- Support products through development, pre-marketing, launch, marketing, and lifecycle management
- Manage medical affairs activities including data generation and dissemination
- Engage in healthcare professional (HCP) interactions
- Build and lead a team of Regional Medical Directors
- Provide regional input into global product and indication strategies
- Collaborate with local country medical directors to ensure strategic alignment
- Ensure alignment of global, regional, and local strategies, messaging, and tactical implementation
- Provide direct line management
- Provide matrix leadership in the disease area
- Contribute to global and regional brand and disease area strategies
- Conduct gap analyses
- Identify areas of interest for investigator-sponsored research (ISR)
- Develop publication plans
- Manage regional data dissemination activities
- Manage regional HCP interactions and outreach
- Provide input on regional perspectives for company-sponsored trial designs
- Collaborate with regional commercial teams on pre-launch, launch, and commercialization activities
- Ensure timely medical input and accuracy of medical/scientific content
- Develop regional strategies to support relationships with opinion leaders, research collaborators, and key organizations
- Establish and maintain scientific relationships with national and regional opinion leaders and healthcare providers
- Serve as a scientific partner to key opinion leaders (KOLs)
- Facilitate and monitor strategic partnerships with scientific/clinical experts
- Act as a regional point of contact with organizations including guideline development and cooperative groups
- Facilitate and monitor strategic partnerships with other functional areas within the company
- Lead the development and execution of regional medical meetings
- Develop, track, execute, and report on goals and objectives
- Support disease area Medical Affairs budget planning and management
- Ensure compliant business practices
- Build and lead a team of brand or indication focused regional medical directors as the portfolio expands
