- Work in hardware/software layer, down to power/reset/recovery
- Deep understanding of Linux or Embedded Linux
- Keeping up-to-date with OS community developments
- Solid Python for automation tooling
- Experience in other languages welcomed
- Appetite to learn new languages
- Working knowledge of CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Working knowledge of Docker and container-based deployment
- Comfort close to hardware and embedded Linux boot flows
- Familiarity with serial consoles, TFTP/NFS boot, U-Boot
- Familiarity with flashing and recovery
- Experience keeping automation infrastructure reproducible and maintainable
- Focus on known-good device state
- Linux systems administration (services, udev, networking)
- Fluent English skills
- LAVA or other hardware-in-the-loop / board-farm framework
- Yocto / OpenEmbedded / bitbake build systems
- Ansible and infrastructure automation
- Build-farm scaling (sstate caches, ephemeral cloud workers)
- CANopen / fieldbus or other low-level device control
- Basic hardware fluency (reading schematics / KiCad)
