In this role, you will drive the development of innovative sensing and actuation technologies, transforming prototypes into reliable products while collaborating with teams and suppliers to ensure successful integration and manufacturability.

Anforderungen

• •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• •5–10 years of experience in electronic or embedded systems development
• •Experience with high-voltage systems and safe laboratory practices
• •Strong skills in C programming for embedded applications
• •Experience in firmware testing, debugging, and validation
• •Familiarity with hardware design, simulation and PCB layout
• •Hands-on mindset — comfortable with soldering, testing, and circuit troubleshooting
• •Proven ability to manage suppliers and coordinate external engineering partners
• •Strong understanding of project management methods, both waterfall and agile
• •Excellent communication skills in English (min. C1) and German is a plus
• •Autonomous, trustworthy and results-oriented, with excellent teamwork and communication skills

Aufgaben

• •Lead electronic and firmware development projects from prototype to production
• •Design and validate electronic architectures for novel technologies
• •Develop and test embedded firmware for control, signal processing, and communication
• •Perform make-or-buy analyses and manage development activities
• •Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams for manufacturability and integration
• •Document technical requirements and track project milestones
• •Adapt electronic platforms to specific customer applications
• •Assemble, test, and debug prototypes while developing supporting documentation
