- Harden cloud data platforms end-to-end
- Manage storage, compute, networking, security, and IAM
- Implement observability and cost management
- Codify infrastructure using Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation
- Establish governance frameworks
- Create data catalogs, data contracts, RBAC models, and SLAs
- Ensure scalable data access
- Design logical and physical data models
- Map data flows and lineage across systems
- Make structural decisions for data organization
- Design target-state architecture for cloud migrations
- Define domain boundaries and data product interfaces
- Translate business needs into technical decisions
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and product owners
- Work with senior client stakeholders
