- National of a CERN Member or Associate Member State
- Maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Computer Science or Engineering (or related field)
- Highest educational qualification is Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before
- University degree required
- PhD not eligible
- English language proficiency
Aufgaben
- Operate the CMS Global Pool of computing resources
- Monitor the submission infrastructure of the experiment
- Maintain the submission infrastructure of the experiment
- Evolve the submission infrastructure of the experiment
- Monitor the HTCondor batch system
- Adjust pool parameters for computing priorities
- Adjust pool parameters for computing needs
- Upgrade Global Pool components
- Configure Global Pool components
- Troubleshoot Global Pool components
- Communicate provisioning issues
- Communicate scheduling issues
- Report Global Pool status at coordination meetings
