Anforderungen
- Scientific programming and data analysis experience
- Familiarity with numerical methods, optimisation, or machine learning
- Interest in particle accelerators, beam physics, control systems, or large scientific facilities

- PhD with no more than 3 years post-graduation experience
- Never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before
Aufgaben
- Contribute to developing beam optimisation software tools.
- Analyze data to improve beam performance.
- Test, validate, and deploy optimisation and ML tools.
- Develop automated procedures for accelerator setup and tuning.
- Collaborate with physicists, operators, and developers on operational needs.
- Support beam commissioning with data analysis.
- Document software, procedures, and study results.
- Present progress and results at technical meetings.
- Collaborate with experts from different disciplines.
