- Negotiating and closing complex technology agreements
- Software licensing, API and platform deals
- Data and content agreements, partnership contracts
- Supporting US and EU commercial deals
- Navigating cross-border transactions
- Awareness of key jurisdictional differences
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- Identify material issues quickly
- Communicate clearly to non-lawyers
- Low ego, high accountability
- Comfortable with routine agreements
- Comfortable with high-stakes deal structures
- Experience with AI/ML
- Experience with developer platforms
- Experience with foundational model licensing
- Exposure to generative AI preferred
- Familiarity with AI product lifecycle
- JD from accredited law school
- Active bar membership in at least one US jurisdiction
- UK or EU jurisdiction qualification highly preferred
- Familiarity with German corporate law
- Familiarity with EU AI Act
- Familiarity with GDPR
- Familiarity with international regulatory frameworks for AI/data
- Advising on IP matters in AI context
- Advising on copyright matters in AI context
- Advising on data licensing in AI context
Aufgaben
- Draft and negotiate commercial agreements
- Support US and EU commercial transactions
- Advise on German corporate law
- Partner with GTM, Marketing, FDE, Infrastructure, and Finance teams
- Advise on AI-specific legal considerations
- Develop and maintain legal frameworks
- Create contract templates and playbooks
- Manage approval workflows
- Engage with outside counsel
- Contribute to compliance initiatives
- Support legal operations as the team scales
