Anforderungen

Master's or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or Technical Chemistry
In-depth know-how in process development and evaluation, reaction engineering, thermal processes, or comparable subject areas
Familiarity with programming/simulation tools (Aspen Plus, Python)
First professional experience as research engineer
High self-initiative
Excellent analytical capacity
Ability to communicate technical findings within international teams
Creativity for new solutions
Open mind-set
Fluency in written and spoken English
German language skills

Aufgaben

Support innovation projects by assessing novel process schemes
Evaluate economic and environmental benefits using streamlined methodologies
Identify optimal combinations of customers and Air Liquide technologies
Conduct feasibility studies including cost estimation and technological benchmarking
Develop business cases to support process scale-up
Support conceptual design of competitive process schemes through modeling and simulation
Collaborate with global Air Liquide entities in interdisciplinary teams
Provide strategic insights to drive innovation
Ensure close cooperation with internal and external customers, academics, and start-ups
