Automation Project Engineer(m/w/x)

Anforderungen

• Technical degree in Automation Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in industrial automation
• Experience in building a new DeltaV Class Library
• Several years of experience with IEC 61131 and IEC 61512
• Knowledge of fieldbus systems and industrial networks
• Experience in technical change documentation and risk analysis
• In-depth knowledge of modern standards in process automation
• Document change management of Functional Specifications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Capability to handle complex technical challenges
• Adaptability to new situations and flexibility
• High level of German and minimum conversational level of English
• Willingness to work in a chemical production environment

Aufgaben

• Plan and coordinate automation resources within a Capex project team
• Ensure alignment with the site engineering team and technical standards
• Lead engineering capital projects or phases to implement new assets
• Manage minor engineering capital projects for automation infrastructure
• Provide technical leadership for automation projects
• Collaborate with project manager to shape project scope
• Estimate, execute, and track costs and progress for project delivery
• Coordinate external resources forming the project team
• Identify and monitor engineering standards for compliance
• Produce an engineering definition package detailing asset requirements
• Plan automation activities according to project milestones
• Identify and manage automation resource task plans
• Oversee daily operations of the automation programmers' team
• Create Software Design Specifications based on site standards
• Organize and manage Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) activities
• Support the commissioning team with planning and troubleshooting
• Manage handover to site engineering and production teams
• Ensure software design, testing, and acceptance for systems
