As an ASIC Architect, you will lead the development of integrated circuits for automotive applications, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to define architecture, evaluate design requirements, and ensure quality throughout the process.

Anforderungen

  • •Academic degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or comparable qualification
  • •Several years of experience in automotive product development
  • •Long-term experience in analog and digital IC design and testing
  • •Several years of experience in leading design teams
  • •Strong expertise in requirements engineering
  • •Deep knowledge of integrated circuits, especially high-voltage analog CMOS and BCD technologies
  • •Solid understanding of semiconductor technology and IC design methodology
  • •Proven ability to develop efficient designs with focus on reusability, effort and gate count optimization
  • •Proficiency in EDA tools and simulation environments
  • •Business fluent German and English language skills (written and spoken)
  • •Strong communication skills and customer orientation

Aufgaben

  • •Define and execute IC architecture
  • •Develop IC architecture and supporting documentation
  • •Align interfaces between analog and digital design and external systems
  • •Verify architecture against component specifications and system requirements
  • •Specify analog/digital design characteristics and interfaces
  • •Decide on optimal design architecture with other discipline architects
  • •Collect and evaluate design requirements with product architects and external partners
  • •Support system and IC concept development
  • •Contribute ideas for new concepts and improvements in system/IC design
  • •Estimate block size and development effort for work packages
  • •Coordinate definition, assignment, and tracking of development work packages
  • •Track actual design effort and report discrepancies
  • •Evaluate technical and development risks and define mitigation plans
  • •Apply configuration and change management processes
  • •Implement quality assurance practices including peer reviews and risk assessments
  • •Develop design-for-test concepts with the test manager
  • •Review verification results for analog and digital design
  • •Support ASIC suppliers with synthesis and technical reviews
  • •Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tool chains
