As an Accountant, you will ensure financial accuracy by processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and supporting audits. This role involves maintaining vendor records and assisting with month-end activities, all while driving continuous improvement in financial processes.

Anforderungen

• •Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• •2–4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
• •Knowledge of German GAAP; IFRS experience is a plus
• •Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• •Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• •Fluency in English; German language skills are an advantage
• •Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude

Aufgaben

• •Process vendor invoices accurately and promptly
• •Verify invoiced details and resolve discrepancies
• •Prepare and execute payment runs in compliance with company policies
• •Maintain vendor records and handle inquiries professionally
• •Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding items
• •Assist with month-end accounts payable closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations
• •Post journal entries and support monthly closing processes
• •Reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy of financial data
• •Assist in preparing reports for internal and external audits
• •Support the finance team with ad-hoc general ledger tasks and process improvements
• •Maintain accurate records for audits to ensure accounts payable compliance and support policy improvements
