Anforderungen

  • PhD in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science or related quantitative discipline
  • 2+ years experience in statistical/data science methods for biomedical data, ideally clinical trial research or pharmaceutical development
  • Strong expertise in statistical computing, advanced modeling, and novel analytical solutions for complex datasets
  • Technical expert and trusted thought partner, translating complex methodology into clear recommendations
  • Experience contributing to internal standards, capability building, training, or strategic initiatives, and mentoring others
  • Collaborative and inclusive mindset, respect for cultural differences, ideally publications/presentations/thought leadership in AI/ML, real-world data integration, or predictive biomarkers

Aufgaben

  • Advance adoption of fit-for-purpose statistical methodologies
  • Provide expert methodological guidance on study design and analysis
  • Lead development of innovative statistical approaches
  • Translate methodological insights into scalable solutions
  • Support portfolio-level analyses and scenario modeling
  • Inform clinical strategy and optimize development decisions
  • Represent Roche in external scientific collaborations
  • Participate in consortia, working groups, and regulatory initiatives
  • Publish and share methodological advances
  • Strengthen analytical excellence through training and best practices
