- Experience in conceptualising, implementing and evaluating AI systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to report and present research findings
- Passion for keeping up with current research
- Enjoyment of reimplementing/extending Deep Learning papers
- Solid software engineering skills
- Writing clean, well-structured code in Python
- Experience deploying AI software to production
- Experience with testing, QA, and monitoring
- PhD in computer vision, machine learning, robotics, or related field
- Authored publications in top-tier journals/conferences
- Experience with object detection and categorisation
- Experience with single and multi-object tracking
- Experience with scene understanding and matching
- Experience with 3D computer vision
- Designed, developed, evaluated state of art AI methods on edge devices
- Led end-to-end product delivery of AI methods
- Experience with simulators, emulators, or synthetic data generators
- Experience with Rust
- Experience with C++
Aufgaben
- Build computer vision models for object recognition
- Develop models for tracking and video understanding
- Create models for scene matching
- Leverage state-of-the-art methods and architectures
- Design experiments to evaluate model performance
- Conduct benchmarks to improve real-world performance
- Adapt models to target hardware constraints
- Develop techniques for downstream ML/AI tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Contribute to impactful projects
